Unpacking Future Packers: No. 5, Utah TE Dalton Kincaid

The Green Bay Packers have 100 prospects on the Unpacking Future Packers Countdown list that they could select in the 2023 NFL Draught.

Since selecting Bubba Franks with the 14th overall pick in the 2000 NFL Draught, the Green Bay Packers have not taken a tight end in the first round.

When the Packers go on the clock with the 15th overall choice on Thursday, that run might come to an end.

. It makes sense to assume that Brian Gutekunst will target a tight end early in the 2023 NFL Draught given the status of Green Bay's tight end room.

Dalton Kincaid is a tight end who Gutekunst might pick in the first round. The tight end from Utah comes in at number five on the Unpacking Future Packers ranking.

This past season, Kincaid broke out for the Utes, reeling in 70 receptions for 890 yards and eight touchdowns.

Each season, Kincaid developed as a blocker. He exhibits readiness. To be able to withstand the point of attack, he will need to gain some mass.
