Carlson resigned after Fox News Channel settled a $1.6 billion defamation lawsuit filed by Dominion Voting Systems just before their highly publicized trial.
Fox executives and anchors, including Carlson and Sean Hannity, have sent emails and messages to the trial in recent months
that suggested they intentionally spread misleading information about the election and Dominion's role.Dominion attorney Justin Nelson said the case settled for $787.5 million.
Fox stated: “We are pleased to have reached a settlement of our dispute with Dominion Voting Systems. We accept the Court's Dominion judgments.
