Trisha Yearwood and Garth Brooks' love is unbreakable. Throughout the previous decade, the couple lost weight and collaborated on songs.
After years of friendship, the singers married in 2005. Trisha disclosed her diet tips and lost 30 pounds in April 2013.
"I devised my own regimen that is low-fat and low-sugar 90% of the time," the singer who is best known for his hit song "Walkaway Joe" told People at the time.
Trisha ate her faves 10% of the time. The country singer credits three Zumba lessons a week with helping her lose weight from a size 14 to a size 10.
She debuted her weight loss during the 2013 Academy of Country Music Awards. Trisha also described how her increased body confidence affected her style.
""I've been lucky to live a lot of fantasies," the Georgian told Good Housekeeping in August 2013. “But finally looking the way I want, feeling better than I ever thought I could, and wearing a tucked-in shirt with a black leather skirt—that is way up there."
Years later, she still prioritized good food and exercise. Garth revealed his 50-pound weight loss during a September 2022 performance series at Croke Park in Ireland, prioritizing a healthy lifestyle.
"I was up on a farm with a garden, and we ate a lot of fresh vegetables, but you just get away from that when you're travelling," Trisha told Parade in March 2021.
She and Garth shared some of their favorite recipes from their Nashville home during the COVID-19 pandemic.
"I enjoy roasting a giant pan of root veggies," she remarked. “Butternut squash, sweet potatoes, Brussels sprouts, carrots. Roasted vegetables get sweeter and caramelized. I make a big batch of rice or risotto with that. That's our comfort food and will last.”
