Ryan Garcia and Gervonta Davis need to be controlled after gaining weight.

A boisterous crowd of both fighters' supporters watched the weigh-in on Friday outside T-Mobile Arena as Gervonta "Tank" Davis and

Ryan Garcia had to be restrained in preparation for Saturday's superfight.

Davis gave Garcia a little nudge when the scales read below the 136-pound catchweight restriction.

As numerous supporters of each combatant created a barrier to separate them, Garcia reacted with a shove of his own.

Garcia weighed 135.5 pounds, which was his lowest weight since January 2021, while Davis weighed 135.1 pounds.

The 24-year-old Garcia competed in his last two fights at the 140-pound limit. "I think [Davis] and Bernard [Hopkins] started getting

into it and then it just became something crazy," Garcia said. "... Gervonta Davis is all I have in mind right now.

I couldn't help but keep staring at him. I'm prepared to obliterate him. Garcia (23-0, 19 KOs) reported being able to eat breakfast, although he isn't quite finished losing weight.
