Melissa Joan Hart says she helped kindergarteners escape the Nashville shooting
When a shooter on Monday in Nashville killed three children and three adults at a school, actress Melissa Joan Hart said she assisted kindergarten students in escaping.
The Covenant School, where the incident occurred, is close to where the Sabrina the Teenage Witch star resides in Nashville with her family.
Hart wrote in an Instagram post on Wednesday that although her kids weren't in school that day, she and her husband
were on their way to conferences at the school when the Covenant School tragedy occurred.
She stated, fighting back tears, "We escorted a class of kindergarteners across a busy motorway who were climbing out of the woods
who were attempting to escape the shooter scenario at their school.She claimed that they assisted in getting the youngsters across the street to their teachers and parents.
She said, "I don't know what to say anymore." "It's enough already. Please think about the families and pray."
Shortly after the Sandy Hook school shooting in 2012, the second deadliest on record, Hart said she and her family relocated from Connecticut to Nashville.
