Memphis Grizzlies standout Ja Morant may miss Lakers Game 2.
Ja Morant's injury is "significant doubt" for Game 2 against the Los Angeles Lakers, according to ESPN's Adrian Wojnarowski.
"It's tough, man," Morant said after Game 1. Especially considering my season. I prioritized being present for my guys. Another incident puts that at risk."
"I'll do anything for my team," Morant said. It's about my pain threshold. I'll play if I can be myself. If not, I won't hurt the squad."
Memphis is unlikely to beat the Lakers if Morant is sidelined. Grizzlies have won without Morant this season
but playoff matchups are different. Especially against the Lakers,
who have two superstars in LeBron James and Anthony Davis.
Morant is tough and will try everything he can to play, but injuries are difficult to overcome.
