The Lions gave Moore the first half of the sum, or $700,000, just days before Moore was suspended for at least a year and released by the Lions.

Moore has given PFT the contract. The deadline for making the payment was 30 days after the contract was signed on March 20.

The remaining $700,000 must be paid by September 8, 2023, at the latest.

Moore will "shall be subject to forfeiture of Salary to the maximum extent permitted under Article 4, Section 9 of the governing Collective Bargaining Agreement (the "CBA"),"

according to the signing bonus amendment to his contract. There are four ways that a "forfeitable breach" can occur in accordance with Article 4, Section 9.
