Milwaukee Bucks star Giannis Antetokounmpo missed his second consecutive game with a lower back injury after being ruled out of Saturday night's 121-99 loss to the Miami Heat.
Antetokounmpo has not played since injuring his back when tumbling to the ground after colliding with Miami's Kevin Love on Sunday.
"He's just not ready to go," Bucks coach Mike Budenholzer said before Game 3 on Saturday. "I don't believe it's always a linear process."
Earlier in the week, Budenholzer expressed optimism about Antetokounmpo's situation, claiming the two-time MVP was making improvement.
Antetokounmpo played 11 minutes in Game 1, including a second-quarter comeback attempt, but his movement was limited before he was taken from the game.
Following the morning shootaround on Saturday, Antetokounmpo was stretchedout by the team's training staff and proceeded toward the team bus with his back taped and iced.
