Felix Anudike-Uzomah, a Kansas State player who attended high school in Lee's Summit, Missouri, was selected by the Kansas City Chiefs.
The Chiefs' head coach Andy Reid noted, "We loved his ability to rush the passer and play the run." We value the fact that he is also a native of Kansas City. According to the head coach, the Chiefs' choice approach was rather straightforward
"You try to take the best player that's available on the board," Reid added. He was that person. He's a fantastic young man.Anudike-Uzomah is anticipated to enter the game right away and offer the Chiefs defensive line some fierce battle
Reid predicted that "he'll be able to play for us right away." "We believed we could benefit from adding another defensive lineman, whether an edge rusher or an inside lineman. He's appropriate there.
An edge prospect with a lot of speed, Anudike-Uzomah has a long, lean build that should continue to fill out and good strength.
His haste creates playmaking opportunities, but in order to improve as a defender, he will need to channel that energy and play with greater composure. Anudike-Uzomah still needs some work on his polish, but his NFL rush potential should eventually make him a starter.
